"'Arrival' consists of 8 tracks I made over the second half of 2018. The release was done more or less 'in the box' with the exception of a Roland Alpha Juno that I got from my friend Roche (thanks Ben lol) and a couple of effects pedals. It was made during a period when I was changing up my creative / production process quite a bit. I was experimenting a lot with new genres, tempos, acoustic sounds, midi programming and some field recordings I took during a trip to the Azores. I know theres that whole analog vs digital vs hardware vs software battle, but for real the laptop can be a seriously creative instrument." - Michael Claus

"FMB" is an apt anthem for album name; being tossed into a dual-encapsulated hamster ball, rotations programmed at the song's tempo but in asymmetrical directions, and you're just trying to keep up. "TBB 97'" slows it down a bit, yet complicates the layers by removing points on the grid and folding the results. Then "B130", reassembling all the vectors through calculations befuddling mathematicians for a polygon impossible. Wonky broken beat house, but delightful nonetheless. DJ Home Movies
